I've been trying some new stuff in terms of line and style... I still think I need to push my designs a good couple notches and go into extremes. Anyway, more to come~
hey guillaume! i didn't know you had a blog, i'll link you to mine. and yes your profile is very funny. And yes your first girl character is very cool....what the hell cliff stole the words right out of my mouth. >_<
The first girl character is really nicely drawn, but I think what stands out even more to me is the drawing on the right (of the muscle man). Really beautiful simplifications of the forms, nice flowing lines, volume, design, etc. Awesome!! Man, Guillaume, youes sure can draw good! :D
Sarah, thank you! I was thinking the same thing about the muscle man, even though I spent on him like a quarter of the time I spent on the lady, I like him better. I was trying to really let the lines flow out and just loosely connect, and you saw that exactly. It also somehow feels less stiff than the other drawings, and making stiff drawings is a thing I'm trying to get out of. I think that's a style/approach I'm gonna try more from now on.

Hey Guillaume, sweet blog (I hate that word). I especially like the yellow lady ^_^
