Spent an awesome week-end at Emma's cottage, got to hang out with good friends, and got to meet some new ones as well! Here they are, save for Ryan and Kyle who managed to evade my scrutinous pencil. I hadn't sketched people in a while, it's really, really fun! :D
Well, it's over! Here are some shots from my film, it's almost done now but there's still a good amount of clean-up and coloring to do on some of the animation (about 35 seconds worth, out of 2:12min). It's been a crazy end of year, went by in a blur. I'm excited to see what the future holds :)
I didn't want to divulge too much about my film's plot on my blog too soon, but I guess we're close enough to the end of the semester to allow for some leakage. Probably most people who view this blog know what my film's about anyways, for the others, you'll have to wonder!
I was listening to some happy love songs tonight and that's what came out. Recently I was reading a book that denounced kitsch as being illusory (well, it kind of is by definition, but anyways), and well, what can I say, I still believe in it. It's not because shitty stuff exists that happy corny stuff is fake! Anyhoo, I kinda like this sketch, maybe I'll finish it if I have time.
Those were drawn at the Ontario Royal Winter Fair this November, I never got around to post them, until now! In other news I'm still working away on my film, I have about 75% of the rough animation done so far, I'm excited about how it's looking so far :). Cheers!
